Northern Ireland site joins the Texaco brand

Wrights Service Station in Portadown, Northern Ireland, has recently moved over to the Texaco brand having previously sold fuel under the STAR brand for 10 years.

The family owned business is run by Andrew Wright and offers a SPAR branded convenience store that includes a butchery and post office. Over the years the site has extended to offer a café, hairdressers and fish & chip shop.

The brand switch provides Wrights Service Station with a strong forecourt image and allows the site to offer its customers a loyalty programme, Star Rewards, for the first time.

The service station receives a secure supply of quality product from Valero's own Pembroke refinery.

Andrew Cox, Valero's director sales and marketing, said, "Valero are delighted to be supplying Wrights Service Station. With the strong Texaco brand on the forecourt, I am sure fuel volumes will grow and the brand switch be a great success. It's fantastic we've gained a new site in Northern Ireland and look forward to seeing site numbers continue to grow in the region."
