Valero Energy Ltd is looking for two experienced Dealer Sales Managers for the Texaco brand. The successful candidates will be responsible for the management of circa 40-50 branded forecourts with a total area volume of circa 150 million litres per annum and gross margin of circa £1.5 million.
Responsibilities include: Dealing with individual customer queries such as payments and deliveries. Seeking out new business opportunities in terms of forecourts requiring a branded fuel supply. Negotiating contractual terms and managing the process from end to end (including agreeing branding parameters, account set-up, line of credit and credit card facilities). Renewing current contracts within the existing portfolio in a timely manner and achieving a target retention rate.
Educational Level and Professional Qualifications Required/Preferred: Educated to at least A Level or HND level. Business or Marketing related degree preferred.
Experience (including number of years in role) Required/Preferred: Minimum of 5 years experience in sales account management and/or contract negotiation required. Experience in the fuel/convenience store or grocery retail business arena preferred.
